Description
Hull City Council (the Authority) invites qualified and interested suppliers to tender for the HYMC - Offshore Training Programme to support the Hull Yorkshire Maritime City project. The Authority is conducting this procurement via an open process as per PCR 2015 for the purpose of procuring the services described in the Specification (Services).
The Hull Yorkshire's Maritime City Project (HYMC) is a £30m development of four sites and two historic ships, which will celebrate Hull's maritime heritage.
Linked to these physical works are activities that provide social value benefits for the local community in line with Hull City Council's City Plan and National Lottery Heritage Funds' Outcomes for People.
This tender is for Offshore Training which will equip young and/or unemployed people with entry level skills and qualifications suitable for the Marine sector
1. Develop
Creation of a syllabus detailing learning outcomes, qualifications, resources and practicalities
2. Recruit
Targeted recruitment of trainees from identified audiences
3. Delivery
Provision of the training at the contractor's venues for 100 trainees over 3 years
4. Partnership
The contractor to liaise with HYMC project partners to maximise the benefits to trainees

5. Evaluate
The contractor will collect data and summarise the attendance and achievements of trainees.
The Authority proposes to enter into a Contract for a periods of 3 years. No extension options will be available to this contract. The anticipated service commencement date is 1 July 2021(see specification for more details).
