Description

Tenders are invited from interested parties for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of a 1 MvA 11kV - 0.4kV Sub-Station on Phase 3, Plot 6 to supply the new Smart Innovation Hub building located on Phase 3, Plot 2 of the University campus in accordance with the Tender Specification in Section 2 of the ITT.

The Smart Innovation Hub is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds England Growth Programme 2014-2020, Staffordshire County Council, the University of Keele and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Single Local Growth Fund. The Smart Innovation Hub Sub-Station is also part funded by ERDF.

Given the need for one Contractor to co-ordinate the delivery of all of the works required, the contract has not been divided into lots.

The Contractor shall complete all of the contract requirements detailed in the Tender Specification in Section 2 of the ITT and ensure that the Smart Innovation Hub Sub-Station has been fully installed and commissioned by 3rd September 2018.

The estimated total value of the contract is £70,000 excluding VAT.

It is essential that Tenderers visit the University campus prior to submitting their tender submission in order to ascertain all the necessary information as to risk which may affect their tender sum.
