Description

Bedminster Green Plot 3 River Restoration Works Supplier Engagement Event

Bristol City Council is engaging the market ahead of issuing a procurement opportunity for River Restoration Works at Bedminster Green Plot 3.

The Bedminster Green River Restoration is a scheme aiming to restore a total of 415m of the River Malago in Bedminster, delivering environmental and public realm enhancements as part of the wider Bedminster Green Framework for regeneration, in line with the vision brought forward by the local community. The wider regeneration scheme incorporates development of an area around Bedminster Green and the River Malago to construct multi use buildings and accompanying infrastructure. The regeneration scheme is split into plots (Plot 1 (most upstream river section), Plot 5 and Plot 3 (most downstream river section)) which the river restoration has replicated to enable the river restoration works to be aligned with the main development of each plot.

River restoration works will be coming forward in phases. This session will focus on Plot 3 works.

We wish to invite contractors to a virtual supplier's information event on Wednesday 23rd October from 10:00 to 11:30am. We recommend this event is attended by any prospective bidder.

The purpose of the event is to engage with the market in advance of issuing a formal ITT by providing early information and background to our requirements and gain an understanding of the market capacity / capability to deliver the scope. We intend to discuss the scope the project as well as providing an overview of the procurement and contracting approaches.

Please register to attend this information session by emailing: penny.sharp@bristol.gov.uk

The event will take place via MS Teams with a link being sent further registration.

It is anticipated the Invitation to Tenders will be launched later this year.
