Description

The Wensleydale Railway Association (Trust) has received funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund for the restoration and refurbishment of the Grade II Listed Victorian Station House at Leeming Bar. This contract covers the structural works and internal finishing in readiness for its later fitting-out to provide authentic redisplays of interior spaces including a Victorian Railway Parcels Room, Waiting Room, Ticket Office and the Station Master's Kitchen and Parlour. The procurement is being managed by North Yorkshire County Council on behalf of The Trust.
