Description

The purpose of the contract is to provide replacement/repair of glazing and replacement parts on a required basis, across the University Estate. The University reserves the right to award this contract to more than one supplier if required. The key objective is to ensure that all buildings remain operational, but above all are safe and secure with a comfortable environment for their occupants.

A key requirement of the contract is the response times as follows:

The contractor shall provide a 24 hour service 365 days a year with a maximum 2 hour response time for emergency requirements, a 4 hour response time for urgent requirements, and a maximum 48 hour response time for all other requirements

To give an indication of the scope of works, in total over the previous 3 years the value of work on this contract has been approximately £20k. This figure is to give guidance only as the contract is a reactive service, and therefore need driven.
