Description

Cumbria County Council (the Council) is seeking a Design & Build Contractor to design and construct two Dementia Care Homes in Copeland and Carlisle. Each care home is to accommodate circa 60 residents with a mixture of dementia and high dependency needs. The building aims to be a centre of excellence for people with dementia therefore the design (internally and externally) must meet the good practice design standards. In addition, the facilities are also to include catering, dining, sluice, laundry, staff rooms and training rooms. Please note there is an online questionnaire to complete for the first stage, used in the first step of the restricted procedure of selecting bidders to tender at second stage.
