Mental Health Social Worker (without AMHP Status)
Rate of Pay: £28 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week

Brief description:

An exciting opportunity is available for a Temporary qualified social workers within the Adult Social Care Social Work Teams. The applicant must be a qualified social worker and registered with Social Work England. Applicants must be conversant with the Care Act 2014 and have experience of dealing with complex situations and demonstrable mental health experience will be an advantage as are excellent IT skills and report writing. Willingness to take part in the 7 day working rota is a requirement as is the ability to travel within and outside of the borough. The use of pool cars are available to carry out your duties subject to a satisfactory risk assessment and licence check. The role will entail duty, care management, safeguarding, tribunal reports and assisting AMHPs as a second person. Induction, regular supervision, and support will be provided. Please note that the job description does not reflect recent changes and the post is within Adult Social Care and not located within a health setting.
