Description

This is an Opportunity Notice.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) are seeking bids for the below requirement:
CQC received new powers in 2021 to oversee Integrated Care Systems and learning from this project will directly support ICSs as well as care providers. One of the core purposes of Integrated Care Systems is to tackle inequalities in outcomes, experience and access to health and social care. The NHS England and NHS Improvement Core20PLUS5 approach aims to support the reduction of health inequalities at both national and system level.

The approach defines a target population cohort:
• the most deprived 20% of the national population PLUS
• ethnic minority communities
• inclusion health groups
• people with a learning disability and autistic people
• coastal communities with pockets of deprivation
• people with multi-morbidities and protected characteristics

As a minimum, we would expect that the successful bidder had reach, unique access and trusted relationships with a broad range of VCS organisations that were able to engage and codesign with the above population groups. The aim is to reach a wide range of people who use services across the demographic within England to enable us to hear from people in their communities.

When engaging people who use services in this work, we would expect that people be compensated for their involvement in line with CQC's public payments policy.

The Contract will be for a total period of 13 months.
