Description

The East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) Forensic service provides inpatient and community services to service users with mental illness, learning disability and/ or autism. All inpatients are detained under the Mental Health Act 1983. Many community patients are subject to Section 37/41 of the Mental Health Act or are subject to a Community Treatment Order. The ELFT Forensic Service provides coverage across North East London as one of the providers of the North London Forensic Collaborative.

22 to 28 hours per week of an Advocate role.

The additional advocacy service will be provided within inpatient & community forensics settings across all categories of need, for adults with mental health needs, learning disability and autism.
This Service will be commissioned directly by ELFT as an additional service to the statutory advocacy service mentioned above, which is commissioned by the Local Authority.
All ELFT Forensic service users will be able to access this service
