Description
A call-off from the Generation 4-TWO 2020 - 2024 Civil Engineering, Highways and Transportation Collaborative Framework (Awarded April 2020).
The scheme is to provide a new cycle route, combining both enhanced shared-use off-road facilities, on-road lanes, improved crossing points. The scheme runs between the Marchwood Road/Bury Lane junction in Eling to the A326 Long Lane / Holbury Drove junction in Holbury, a total distance of over 14km.
This call-off includes Early Contractor Involvement using secondary Option X22 of the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract. The works element of the contract will be delivered in Stage Two, within the total £3,441,000 budget.
