Description
1. The Contractor will be proactive in monitoring trends in the recruitment sector, particularly in the graduate legal recruitment market and will have knowledge and experience in this field.
2. The Contractor will consider and suggest alternative approaches to assessing potential in the selection and assessment process, demonstrating an awareness of equality issues e.g.
a. review the tests currently being used as sifting tools i.e. a Situational Judgement Test (SJT), a Verbal Reasoning Test (VRT) and a Critical Reasoning Test (CRT), and identify whether there is an alternative approach/ tests or tools which would deliver a cost effective, more robust, non-discriminatory assessment of one or more of the key competences required for the role;
b. review the (face to face) assessment stage, and the exercises currently used (i.e. a written exercise produced by the Client and a standardised Competency based interview) and provide advice as to whether there is an alternative approach/ tests, tools or exercises which would deliver a cost effective, more robust, non-discriminatory assessment of the competences required for the role.
Where alternative approaches are identified, the Contractor will carry out pilot testing of any new tests/tools/exercises identified; facilitate candidates making use of new tests, tools and/or exercises; and will review the results delivered at the end of the campaign.
Provision of commercially available online tests and instruments.
Design and provision of tests exercises and tools.
Delivery of assessment events and provision of assessors.
