Description

Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (Arden & GEM CSU) on behalf of NHS England (North Midlands) would like to invite providers to attend a Market Engagement Event which will inform the market of the intentions to procure a regional Paediatric Sexual Assault Service (SARC).

NHS England wishes to commission a regional clinical and forensic paediatric sexual assault service for children and young persons who have been sexually assaulted or raped (acute and historic cases). This will be delivered through the provision of an open access 24/ 7 /365 managed clinical network. This will deliver a one stop service including both forensic examination and care delivered at named SARC locations, supported by referral pathways into local age appropriate services for support and follow-up care where these are needed.

The intention is to commission a service that covers the West Midlands, West Mercia and Warwickshire police force areas, with the option to include Staffordshire at a later date.

The Market Engagement Event will take place on 11th November 2015 in Birmingham city centre. Further details will be provided to delegates nearer the time of the event.

The Market Engagement Event will provide:
• an overview of the services to be provided
• details of the anticipated contract type, length and particular conditions
• an overview of the procurement process and the anticipated timeline
• a "MINI-PROCUREMENT MASTERCLASS" with guidance and tips on tender writing and an opportunity to ask questions on an individual basis.

Places are strictly limited therefore reservations are limited to no more than 2 persons per organisation.

Please note the financial values in this advert are NOT the values that will be used for the procurement, further information will be given at the event and in the published tender documentation.
