Description

Birmingham City Council (BCC) provide minibus transport to a large number of adult service users attending a number of Learning Disability, Physical Disability and Older Adults Day Centres transported on fully accessible minibuses.

The Council is seeking a provider who must be approved to repair, maintain and service its fleet of approximately 20 contract hired Mercedes Trekka / Sprinter Passenger Carrying accessible minibuses with rear passenger lifts and 20 Volkswagen Crafter low floor ramp vehicles.

This contract will be for a period of 12 months commencing November 2016, subject to no delays being encountered throughout the evaluation process. The contract will have option to extend for a further period of 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs.
