Description

The works involve the alterations to the existing hard and soft landscaped areas of the Gunny Park in Canvey Island. A portion of the site is listed as a Scheduled Monument and so Historic England will have some monitoring involvement during the works. The works will follow on once the new community building has been constructed and services and drainage laid.

This contract is being advertised on behalf of Canvey Island Town Council.

    2. Please note that the timber post and rail fence along the edge of the car park is to be 1.2m high (not 1.1m high as stated on drawing 0105).
    3. Please include for the new fencing indicated on the drawings (for instance the 2.4m vertical bar railing along the southern boundary) and the gates indicated. If not included specifically on the pricing schedule, please add this in.
    4. Proposed images of the notice boards are included on page 6 of the Design and Access Statement.
