Description
The Council requires a supplier for the provision of Sophos Anti-Virus licenses (Server Protection for Virtualisation, Windows and Linux) with Extended support for Win2008 R2 server.
This contract will be for a period of 1 year, commencing 01/04/2021 until 31/03/2022. This contract will not be automatically renewed on an annual basis, performance of the provider to meet agreed SLA's and KPI's will be rigorously monitored throughout the 12-month term. The Council will reserve the right to Terminate for convenience (as detailed in BCC's standard Terms & Conditions).
We have a current requirement for suppliers to quote for 450 Sophos Anti-Virus Licenses (Server Protection for Virtualisation, Windows and Linux) to cover our Windows 2008 R2 servers. As Windows 2008 R2 is now End of Support (31st Dec 2020) We are now also required to purchase "Extended support" for these servers to continue receiving AV updates.
We have a requirement to maintain Anti-Virus on these 450 servers over the next 12 months (1st April 2021 to 31st March 2022) and we also need to make sure we are still applying all Critical and regular AV updates.
All associated costs must be included in the licensing cost quoted in your response to allow us to meet our requirement above. The costs can be inputted within the embedded spreadsheet within the response section.
