Description

York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust requires a contracted DBA service to support our live production database-related systems as well as for development, test and training environments.

In our organisation, the main technology used is the Oracle RDBMS and Oracle Forms/Apex which are currently all hosted on-site. These underpin our main Clinical System which has been developed and maintained in-house over a number of years (25+).

Other Oracle products have been used as new requirements have provided an opportunity to use new technologies (e.g. ORDS). It is desirable that support for these products is also provided where possible.

In addition, we also require support for 3rd party software which utilises SQL Server. In this respect, we do not expect direct support for the application which will be managed separately but just for the database.

All these are currently on-site.
