Description
This will be a Two Stage Traditional tender for a Fit Out Contractor for the Harris Your Place Project at Preston's Harris Museum, Art Gallery and Library
The first stage of the tender will be based on: SQ; Programme; Method statements; Preliminaries; Overheads and profits; Fees for pre-construction services; Experience; and further quality questions
We will ask Tenderers to submit their prices / percentages for:
• Preliminaries
• Overhead and Profit Percentages
• Fees for Pre-construction services.
After this stage a preferred supplier will be chosen to take the project/ undertake the next stage of the tendering process. The supplier will be appointed for this next stage via a PCSA.
The pre-construction services will include: advising on the design, development of the method of construction with the Design team, and further works as required.
During the Second Stage of the tender, it is expected that the supplier will obtain three competitive tenders for each works package on an open book basis. The final programme and overall lump sum price for the completion of the works will be agreed.
