Description

The Provision of Removal Services

The Council has a regular requirement for residential moves within the Borough of Sandwell that also includes a packing and unpacking service and the requirement for furniture and belongings to be taken into storage.

Residential Removals can be categorised into four types;

Tenant Incentive Scheme (TIS)
Deaths involving the Treasury
Evictions or abandoned properties
Emergency Moves

The total estimated expenditure on residential removals during the past twelve months was £26000 and storage costs was £20000. This value is based on historical spend data and is intended to be used as a guide only and is not a guarantee of the level of business that will be generated from the contract.

Contract Period

The duration of this contract will be from 1st December 2019 to 30th November 2020.

All prices submitted will remain fixed for the full 12-month duration.
