Description
All residents of Bromley will have access to this service, independently or via referral, as a first point of contact and will be provided with a specialist support service based on an assessment of risk (using the SafeLives RIC) and the implementation of a tailored safety plan. As a requirement of the contract we are asking that the provider shall deliver the following as part of the Domestic Violence and VAWG Service:
a) Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advisors addressing all forms of VAWG.
b) Standard, Medium and High level support to Females.
c) An appropriate service for male victims and relevant signposting when necessary.
d) Provision for a Young Persons IDSVA working with The Leaving Care Team, children's early intervention Teams and working with young victims when they have disclosed domestic abuse and need support.
e) Provision for specialist adult support IDSVA for elder victims of domestic abuse, service users with complex additional needs including substance misuse (drugs, and/or alcohol) and those service users with mental health conditions.
f) Provide support to the Community Safety Unit (CSU)
g) Support Victims during civil and criminal justice proceedings
h) Support for victims disclosing Female Genital Mutilation, Honour Based Violence and Forced Marriage.
i) Specialist support for clients with No Recourse to Public Funds,
j) A dedicated RESPECT accredited domestic violence perpetrator programme.
k) A One Stop Shop offering a wide range of services under one roof.
l) Victim/Survivor support group such as the Freedom Programme or similar
