Description

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking to establish a framework of suitably qualified service Providers to supplement the Council's in-house Occupational Therapy teams and undertake assessments on an ad-hoc basis where the Council is unable to do so within defined timescales.

The Framework Agreement will comprise a preferred Provider and secondary Providers.
The Council will ordinarily refer all relevant cases to the Preferred Provider. Secondary Providers will be used where the Preferred Provider is unable to deliver the assessment.

The Provider/s will undertake occupational therapy assessments to identify Service Users' needs for community care services under the legal framework and provide a follow up service to include the arrangement of services and checks to ensure that this provision is completed safely, risk assessed and meets identified needs

The initial term of this Framework Agreement will be two years with the option to extend for up to a further two years.
