Description
The Works shall include but not be limited to:
• Removal of vegetation from within the development area.
• Excavation, processing and crushing of ground slabs, retaining walls and foundations to a maximum depth of 3m. Materials to be stockpiled on site for future reuse.
• Excavation and re-engineering of made ground on site to a maximum depth of 2 m. Materials to be compacted to an engineering specification.
• In locations near to previous JKW zones inspection of excavated materials for rhizomes and the further treatment and installation of root protection barriers.
• Site to be graded as per current levels and changes in level created by existing retaining walls to be replaced by temporary slopes.
• Removal and / or treatment of unidentified contamination, if required.
• Validation of works with geotechnical and contamination testing.
• Provision of a validation report.
• Provision of warranties assignable to the future developer.
