Description

Large scale high temperature, high strain-rate and high pressure testing facilities

The University wishes to appoint a Contractor or Contractors to supply High Temperature, High Strain-Rate and High Pressure Testing Facilities (H3TF) for the studying of material behaviours under these extreme loading conditions.

As part of the UK Collaboratorium for Research on Infrastructure & Cities (UKCRIC) National Centre for Infrastructure Materials, the university will host high temperature, high strain-rate and high pressure testing facilities (H3TF) and diagnostic system for material performance under combined fire, impact and explosion loads for existing and novel infrastructure materials.
