Description

Prison Industries manufacture a range of textile items including clothing and bedding for the Prison Estate, along with sandbags. We require raw materials to be delivered to prison workshops across the UK. We intend to divide this requirement into lots as follows, with Suppliers able to bid for any number of Lots:
Lot 1: Woven Fabric
Lot 2: Knitted Fabric
Lot 3: Hessian, Twine & Polypropylene
Suppliers are invited to express their interest in this opportunity and to attend a Supplier Engagement Event on Tuesday 30th January 2024 at 5 Wellington Place, Leeds, LS1 4AP. Please contact MOJProcurementIndustries@justice.gov.uk to express an interest in this procurement and advise if you wish to attend the advertised event. Please let us know details of attendees (numbers may need to be limited depending on room capacity) and which of the advertised Lots you are interested in.

The focus of the day will be to discuss the requirements of Prison Industries and also to go through the Bidding process. There will be ample opportunity to answer questions and speak to us on a 1-2-1 basis. We will compile a list of questions and answers from the day and these will be shared with all participants.
