Description

Amber Valley Borough Council (AVBC) have submitted a bid to Governments PSDS (Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme) . The Council is currently awaiting the outcome of whether it has been successful (likely to be known before the end of this month) and will be awarded grant funding to undertake the entire project (as per its bid submission ).

The main work items/measures include:

The installation of a new GSHP for its Council Offices/HQ
Fabric insulation of the external envelope to the Old Town Hall
Roof insulation upgrade to the above
Window replacement to the above
LED retrofit
VSD on main heating pumps
Re configuration of the IT server room

We are seeking expression of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers who can deliver all of the above.

Ideally, the Council would want one principal contractor who can deliver all of the above under a JCT minor works building contract or similar.

Should the bid not be successful , the Council would remain interested in delivering some of the above items from its capital programme, although it will likely be a reduced project in size and scale.
