Description

The Ocean Country Partnership Programme (OCPP) is funded through UK official development assistance as part of the UKs Blue Planet Fund.

Under the OCPP, Cefas will use existing experience of collaboration at an international level, to develop innovative science techniques and analyses with OCPP partner countries that address marine pollution challenges.
Requirements:
Delivery of the climate change education initiative through the Girl Guides Association programme.
The delivery will utilise physical and digital education material on climate change which has been produced by OCPP in collaboration with government partners in Sri Lanka in English, Sinhala, Tamil. These materials will be provided to the Supplier on Contract inception.
The materials include 4 lessons on different areas of climate change in the form of a booklet (digital and physical), and accompanying videos and activities associated with the lessons learnt.
Through the program, we aim to deliver climate change knowledge to adolescents who are out of school or living in socio-economic marginalised communities. Additionally, the English materials can be used to further their proficiency of the English language, which has been shown to be a factor increasing earnings prospects and alleviating poverty.
