Description

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire (OPCC) invites applications from suitably experienced organisations who wish to be considered for selection to tender for the Conditional Caution intervention for perpetrators of intimate and non-intimate (family members) Domestic Abuse.
Individuals meeting the eligibility criteria will be referred by Hampshire Constabulary as a condition attached to a Conditional Caution, which is an option available as part of the Out of Court Disposal (OoCD) framework. The condition will require completion of an intervention designed to address issues that underpin the offending behaviour of Domestic Abuse perpetrators, while considering the context of the relationship (either current or former intimate partners or family members) between the individual and the victim of their offence.
The intervention must comply with the pre-conditions as defined by the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) and build links with wider support services, taking other issues the perpetrator (or where appropriate the victim) of the abuse may be facing into consideration.
This service specification invites proposals that demonstrate innovative and creative ways to address offending behaviour, while understanding that it is not uncommon for victims to want to end the abuse, but not the relationship.

The Contract will commence on 1st April 2021 and will be for a period of three years.

Interested parties should register their interest in the project via the In-Tend website https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire, and complete and submit the tender return document together with any supporting information requested by 14.00 hrs on Friday 22nd January 2021.
