2.2 What we are buying and why
Landscape Architect support for The Mersey Forest Team, mainly working across Cheshire and Liverpool, but with some working across the wider Community Forest Programme also envisaged to enable delivery of our programme over the next 3 Years
We require a range of Landscape Architecture services, with a blend of knowledge, experience and expertise on tree and woodland establishment projects and programmes.
This knowledge, experience and expertise will need to cover all stages of project development and management.
• Project Initiation
• Scheme proposal
• Scheme visuals - with ability to use different methods to provide visuals, sketch, montage, video and other techniques.
• Specification - including innovation and problem solving
• Community Engagement
• Tendering support
• Tender evaluation
• Contract support
• Contract management, including the ability to act as Contract Administrator
• Project evaluation
• Integration of all design works and attributes to GIS (assuming most work on design is carried out in CAD)
We also want to establish an apprentice programme with the successful tenderer to support this work to support more green jobs and increase the number of people with Landscape Architect knowledge working in the Community Forest sector.
