Description

The purpose of this contract is for the successful contractor to lead and support a number of Green Infrastructure (GI) Standards trials across England. This will enable the trials to test the emerging National Framework of Green Infrastructure Standards so they can be refined and improved before they are soft launched in spring 2021 and then more formally launched and rolled out nationally in the first half of 2022.

The successful contractor will initially brief all trial areas on the draft standards and then work with/lead them to establish the best way to trial the standards in their individual areas. The successful contractor will assist the trials through a series of pre-determined (and more flexible less defined processes allowing the successful contractor to use their expertise to decide how best to support each of the trial areas), consistently collecting evidence that will aid the evaluation of the overall project. As it is likely that trialling will take place whilst the Corona Virus is still an issue, the initial trialling will be viewed as "beta trialling" and by its nature, be flexible in its delivery to accommodate the needs of the trial areas.
