Description

To provide a new pump track facility located in an area of Battenhall Park, St Peter, Worcester. The pump track will encourage cycle, scooter, skateboard and rollerblade participation, develop cycle and life skills and rider confidence, in a safe controlled environment.

Battenhall Park is open for public use at all times.

A summary of the project requirements is as follows:
• Temporary Heras fencing (site security);
• Groundworks, preparation and forming of jumps;
• Supply and installation of base stone material to construct and shape jumps;
• Tarmac surfacing laid to a 70mm depth, wearing course 10mm hard stone aggregate;
• Drainage - central drainage system TBA with Client;
• Post-installation inspection of pump track facility;
• Landscaping - topsoiling and turfing to be laid on surrounds of track footprint.

Bidders are advised to carry out a site visit with the Authority's Representative prior to submitting their ITT in order to fully appreciate the circumstances of the requirements.

The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Proactis Pro-Contract portal https://procontract.due-north.com to conduct this procurement exercise.

To gain access to the procurement documents, bidders will need to register their company details at the above website. Once registered, bidders will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the procurement documents. Bidders will need to search for the invitation under Worcester City Council and then electronically submit an expression of interest and follow the online instructions to view the procurement documents
