Description

The Supply and Delivery of Radiation Tolerant Cables for use on the European Spallation Source Active Cells Facility.

The UK Atomic Energy Authority requires a range of Radiation Tolerant Cabling that is suitable for the use in both a fixed installation and in robotic installations.

The cabling requires the following top-level characteristics:
• Minimum radiation resistance of 1M/Gy or higher on all insulation parts
• All cabling must be screened with an inner braid with outer insulation
• Low Smoke Zero Halogen
• Static and Dynamic Bend Radii must be met
• Able to deliver and range of cables cross-sectional areas and characteristics
