Description

This Procurement is for a Framework Agreement for the provision of Post 16 Semi - Independent Accommodation Services. The Service will be provided in the areas of the commissioning Local Authorities, namely: Bournemouth Borough Council, Dorset County Council, Hampshire County Council, Borough of Poole, Portsmouth City Council, Southampton City Council, Wokingham Borough Council, Bracknell Forest Borough Council. The geographical area covered by Bournemouth Borough, Dorset County Council and Poole Borough Council is subject to local government reorganisation that was established on 1st April 2019. On this date Dorset County Council became a unitary authority known as Dorset Council except for the Christchurch Borough Council area which became part of the new unitary authority known as Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. Other authorities including Slough Children's Services Trust, Surrey County Council and Isle of Wight Council may join the framework during the contract period.

The framework was established on the 1st February, 2019 following a competitive tender process. The 3rd Anniversary framework re-opening invites tenders from both new applicants or from existing providers who wish to improve their original offers or apply for a place on additional Lots.

The Authorities have decided to divide the opportunity into 4 Lots as given below:

Lot 1: Looked after children, including Separated Children Seeking Asylum (16 to 21 years old)
Lot 2: Care leavers (16 years and older)
Lot 3: Young people with complex needs (16-21 years old)
Lot 4: Parent(s) and child
