Description

English Tourism Week (ETW) is an annual event, which in 2021, will run from 22-31 May 2021. (ETW usually takes place at the end of March to the beginning of April to mark the start of the tourism season in England).
ETW is a celebration of the English tourism industry showcasing the quality, range and value of English tourism to stakeholders and highlighting tourism's contribution to the economy. Making up 80% of the UK's visitor economy, English tourism usually generates £106 billion a year, supports 2.6 million jobs and is a major employer of school leavers and young people, as well as an incubator for entrepreneurs and innovation. ETW provides an opportunity to raise awareness and the profile of the sector, with VisitEngland working to support English destinations with political engagement nationally, regionally and locally.
