Description

With a change in light role tactical emphasis towards dispersion, so the concept of logistics also needs transforming to limit reliance on rear based hub and spoke resupply wherever possible. Water makes up a significant proportion of resupply requirements, in terms of weight and bulk. Water purification and de-salination is now technically possible, in terms of equipment TLR and price point, to allow tactical edge self-reliance. This trial looks to prove the tactical advantage this provides by purchasing water purification units.
