Description

NOTE: This notice was updated on 07 October 2019 for the following reason: Tender OPA T264/19-1568 - Permanent Dewatering of NATO Tanks - OFD Thanckes has been cancelled following the decision by engineering to undertake a design review of the requirements. This tender will be re-issued at a later date following the completion of that review.(As part of the redevelopment programme for OFD Thanckes, OPA's requirement to Blast and Inspect the Nato Storage tanks, the tanks are currently out of service. The NATO storage tanks ground water levels in the area will need monitoring and Permanent dewatering solution undertaken. The details and the draft proposals contained in appendix 4 documents are a proposal only and it shall be the Contractors responsibility to review and design the permanent solution to dewatering and detail how each element of the works will be completed works are also to include the following items:

•Establish working area including perimeter fencing and exclusion

•The Contractor shall prepare a traffic movement plan and install maintain any temporary access roadways required.

•The Contractor shall allow for a full photo documented history of the works to be submitted upon completion of the works.

•This project is reportable under CDM and the contractor shall assume duties of Principal Contractor for this project.)
