Description

The UK government have identified a need to expand the provision for electric vehicle charging infrastructure to further support the take up of ultra-low emission vehicles in the coming years. The Office of Low Emission Vehicle (OLEV) released funding to support local authorities to install electric vehicle infrastructure provision for residents without access to off street parking. In Worcestershire, car park locations have been chosen to support this provision rather than on-street locations.

Worcestershire County Council is therefore looking to procure a provider to supply, install, maintain and operate 5, 7kW electric vehicle charge points across 4 district council car park locations.

The locations are:
Raven Street Car park - Wyre Forest
Dog Lane car park- Wyre Forest
King Street car park- Worcester
Link Top car park- Malvern

All installs are to be complete by end March 2020. The charge points are the be operational for a minimum of 3 years following installation.

Please read the Tender Guidance document (Appendix 2) in full before you complete your application to tender for this opportunity.

Please ensure you 'Opt in' in order to gain access to the questionnaires and Specification and supporting documents.

This tender closes at 12 midday on Thursday 9th January 2020
