Description
We are looking for a suitably experienced contractor to develop and deliver training on 'taking a human rights based approach' to ombudsman schemes in England and Wales. The training will be based on a human rights manual which was produced by the Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman and redeveloped as a web-based resource by the Equality and Human Rights Commission. The purpose of the training is to support managers, investigators and caseworkers working in ombudsman schemes in England and Wales to identify and act on human rights issues that arise in casework and to help them embed human rights considerations into their investigations, reports and recommendations. The work should be completed by the end of March 2019.
