Description

The London Borough of Hillingdon seeks to commission archaeological consulting services to carry out preliminary surveys and a trial community excavation over 3 (three) days during the summer of 2018 at a country park in Middlesex. Subject to a satisfactory trial and funding being made available a series of further community excavations will be undertaken in subsequent years.

It is a specific requirement of this project that the successful consulting organisation is registered with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists and that all consultants engaged on the project are members of the CifA and comply with its regulations, standards and guidelines. Tenders received from organisations without such a registration will not be considered for acceptance.

Tenders received will be evaluated on the basis of 60% Price / 40% Quality as set out in the tender documentation.
