Description

In Partnership with the Department for Transport (DfT), Transport for West
Midlands (TfWM) delivered a Midlands Motorway Hub Study in 2018, which outlined a number of key recommendations. One of which was in relation to Variable Message Signs (VMS) on the M6 Toll. This project seeks to address this recommendation with an alternative approach by utilising connected digital infrastructure to enable the implementation of a Virtual Variable Message sign system (VVMS).
