Description

Combe Martin Parish Council (CMPC) would like to invite suitably qualified people/companies to submit sealed bid tenders for the construction of a 16m x 8m store with public toilets at Hollands Park, Combe Martin. Potential contractors are encouraged to visit the site to fully appreciate the location and access conditions.

The Council is not obliged to go with the cheapest quote and will consider value for money and experience of similar builds. The Council is also likely (but not bound) to try and support local businesses. Potential contractors may wish to clearly state any work which is or is not included in their price.

Full details of the plan, materials and location of the site can be found on the NDC Planning Application, number 74698.

Tenders should be submitted to the Council Office (Combe Martin Community Centre, EX34 0LQ) in a sealed envelope addressed to "the Proper Officer" by 12 noon on Friday 10th June 2022.

Tenders will be opened by the Clerk, in front of witnesses, and will be considered at the CMPC meeting on 13th June 2022. All Tenders will be replied to on Tuesday 14th June.

Any queries regarding the work required should be directed to the CMPC Clerk. Prospective contractors should avoid contacting councillors or council staff to encourage or support their tender.
