Description
Oxford City Council requires one full-time mental health practitioner from a provider within the Oxfordshire Mental Health Partnership, on a secondment basis for a period of 12 months, from 26th November 2018 to 22nd November 2019. The practitioner will support the tenancy sustainment team and support tenants to access relevant services to prevent further escalation of mental health issues and the risk of losing their tenancy.
The mental health worker will contribute to the delivery of excellent service across the Housing Needs Team and Tenancy Sustainment Casework. This will be through sharing experience, knowledge and expertise on working with mental health issues and management. They will also use their experience and knowledge of pathways into mental health services across Oxfordshire to support the team to navigate timely appropriate access into mental health services for their clients.
