Description

The South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) and South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE) own the South Yorkshire Super tram System, a 29km light rail network running predominantly in the city of Sheffield. SYMCA/SYPTE is needing to procure 500 tonnes of EN14811:2019 - 55G2 (41GP). grooved tram rail.
The rail must be capable of being aluminothermic welded into the existing rail which can be grades R200, R260 or British Steel ML330, using a proven method.
