Description
CFH Facilities wishes to procure Facility Management Services for the Quadram Institute, a new facility under construction on the Norwich Research Park that will carry out research into food and health sciences, including the diagnosis of gastrointestinal diseases, and clinical trials.

The new facility represents a capital investment of £82.2m by the Institute of Food Research (IFR), the University of East Anglia (UEA), and Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC). The building will be completed in March 2018. CFH Facilities will operate the building on behalf of the Quadram Institute tenants and wishes to implement a Total Facilities Management (TFM) solution where all FM services are provided by a single supplier. The new building, which is currently under construction, has 13,200m2 of laboratory, clinical and office space across four floors. When completed, it will have capacity for 400 staff with a further 200 patients, trials volunteers and visitors. The activities to be undertaken are summarised below. These are described in detail in the Operational Services Specification document. The contract will run for 5 years.
