Description

The University of Nottingham wishes to Contract with one supplier to Supply and Manage Consignment Stock with the current Engineering Stores with a possibility of extending into Estates. The consigned stock will consist of Engineering Consumables, PPE, Tooling and Mechanical, including Taps, Dies, Slot Drills, End mills, Batteries, Cable Ties and Safety Equipment.

The objectives are to:

? Ensure EU compliance
? Expand a new Consignment Stock list
? Establish a consistent standard of service via Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
? Improve Contract Management
? Introduce Consolidated Billing
? Streamline and simplify processes, reduce administration costs and improve the Supplier Relationship Management process
? Generate savings and process efficiencies
? Increase internal customer satisfaction
? Sustainable procurement, including recycling, and reduction of supply chain environmental impact
? Establish mutually beneficial partnership/s at lower costs

The approximate value is ?45K per annum for Engineering Stores with a potential value if Estates Department enter into this Framework Agreement of ?85K.
