Description

The works comprise graphic design and the supply and erection of short and tall marker posts and information boards in land close to the Wyrley and Essington Canal in the control of The City of Wolverhampton Council and the Canals and Rivers Trust. The nature of Construction works comprises of the excavation works for foundations, the Installation of posts into excavated holes and back fill with concrete including the making good and spreading or disposal of arisings from the construction works. It is the intention that these works will be let to a single supplier who will be responsible for the entire delivery of the specified works. It should be appreciated that these works are subject to ERDF funding contribution and it is a mandated requirement that a spend level of £31K of the total funding needs to happen before 2017 calendar year end. The proposed form of contract for these works is the JCL1 2012 Landscape Works Contract and it is assumed that suppliers will be familiar with this form and be in a possession of a copy for the purposes of providing a valid tender for consideration.
