Description

This is a prior information notice to alert interested parties that NHS Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group is planning to commence procurement in the upcoming months for an 'online consultations' solution for and on behalf of the Bedford, Luton and Milton Keynes (BLMK) GP practices.

The contract is expected to be for 2 years and to commence on 1st December 2017. Interested providers must satisfy the following criteria as a minimum in order to be considered as a provider to run this service;

• the solution must facilitate an exchange between patients and the practice using the Internet, enabling effective care to be given without the need to contact the Practice by telephone or in person
• the solution must meet acceptable levels of Information Governance (NHS Contracts, mandatory IG Compliance, Level 2 version 14)
