Description

Market Engagement Event for Advocacy Services for Adults in SBC.
Slough Borough Council will be seeking to commission an Advocacy service for adults, under a single contract through the appointment of an Independent Lead Provider. The Independent Lead Provider will be responsible to form joint working arrangements with organisations that will deliver Independent Statutory and Non-statutory Advocacy services.
The contract is for an initial period of 3 years, with the potential to extend for a further 2 years (1+1). The estimated contract value over the 5 year period is £550,000.
The Council intends to engage with the market to seek the views of providers that may be interested in delivering the service and to seek their views in the development of the specification.
Providers interested in this event are advised to contact Helen.fisher@slough.gov.uk by Wednesday 30th September 2020 (at the latest) to confirm interest and obtain details of how to join the event . The event will be held on Monday 5th October 2020 from 10 am to 12 noon. However , we may have to conduct a second session later in the afternoon if the demand and response to this event is very good .
