Description
This Notice is to notify the market about the plans to formally engage the market to establish interest in the market as well as to obtain information to further inform Westminster City Council's (WCC) requirements. As such, this Notice does not formally signify the beginning of any procurement and does not constitute a commitment to undertake a procurement exercise. In the event that a decision is made to formally commence a procurement pursuant to this Notice a separate notice will be issued.
WCC intends to procure a contract for the provision of a Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) Support Service.
The new contract may cover the following outcomes:
1. Strong knowledge of the sector: maintaining an online database of all VCS organisations in Westminster that acts as an information portal/resource to everyone involved in the sector;
2. Quality and sustainability of VCS service provision: tailored signposting to capacity building services to meet the needs of different organisations;
3. VCS voice: sustaining and developing the Westminster Community Network as a forum for VCS networking, advocacy and influence.
A new service will also be expected to retain and improve key delivery and quality expectations.
