2687/497/JN/COM/20 A high speed infra-red (IR) camera

The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a high speed infra-red (IR) camera on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Castings Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire.

Scope of Requirement
A high speed infra-red (IR) camera is required to understand the thermo-mechanical effects during high speed impact events involving next-generation engineering materials. To characterise the role of thermal energy during such events, a sensor is required that is capable of capturing temperature field data.
