Description
The environmental, health and social impacts of food consumption have risen up the policy agenda in recent years. Defra is currently developing a National Food Strategy for England. Its scope is likely to include the nutritional content of diets, the environmental impacts of food production and the affordability of a healthy sustainable diet. New robust and detailed evidence is needed on how the consumption of different foods are likely to change in an evolving policy landscape.
We are interested in both short-term and long-term consumer responses to price and income changes, including from different socio-economic groups.
