Description

In April 2022, the Authority in-housed its waste service and therefore now operates and manages 21 Recycling Centres for Household Waste (RCHW) and 4 Waste Transfer Stations (WTS) across the County of Essex. As a result of this, the Authority requires a varying range of contracts to enable the waste service to operate effectively, including the purchase of new mobile plant Machines (the Machines).

The Authority are awarding a contract to purchase a quantity of two (2) new Machines to be operational across the Recycling Centres for Household Waste (RCHW). Alongside this purchase, the Authority also requires the Contractor to provide a Repair and Maintenance (R&M) package as well as a provision for unscheduled maintenance services.

The Authority have undertaken a framework call-off process from the Procurement Services Framework Y23057 (Lot 2: Purchase of Plant Machinery).
